Obituary of Raymond A. Meyering

Meyering, Raymond A. Brockport: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday May 11, 2014 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents, brother Bernard Meyering and sister Ruth Koss. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Adelaide, his children Thomas (Margaret), Mary (Bill) Duff and Donald (Laurie) Meyering, grandchildren Stephanie Meyering, Brian Duff, Gemma Meyering, Samantha Krueger, Joseph and James Kruk and his sister Agnes Adams. Ray was a Sergeant with the New York State Troopers and retired in 1979. He was a proud member of the Boy Scouts for 75 years and was a member of the Massawepie Camp Staff for 26 years. Friends are invited to join the family in praying the Rosary at 3:45 pm on Wednesday May 14 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave Brockport where calling hours will follow from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday May 15 at 9 am in Nativity Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Main St., Brockport. Interment will following Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Seneca Waterways Boy Scouts Council or Nativity Church.
