Cooley, Mary “Philma” (Bassett)
Brockport / Hamlin: on Sunday March 2, 2014 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Donald Cooley, daughter Betty Ann Hegeman and grandson Patrick Cooley. She is survived by her daughter Donna Lee (Jack) McElver, son Donald “Butch” (Kim) Cooley, grandchildren John (Bonnie) McElver, Matt McElver, Amy Hegeman Gaesser, Kimberly Hegeman Corpus, Marcie Conlon, David Hegeman, Ben (Marlena) Cooley, Caitlin Cooley, great-grandchildren Brendan and Erin Gaesser, Korey, Kris and Katy Corpus, Nicholas and Jonathan McElver and Amelia Conley.
Mary was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 379 in Brockport, NY.
Friends may call on Thursday March 6 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 west Ave., Brockport. Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Friday March 7 at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin, NY. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in the Spring. Those wishing may contribute to the American Legion Post 379 in Brockport, NY.
