Fay C. “Shaker” Knapp

Hamlin: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the age of 82.  He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shari; children Charles (Mary Ann) Knapp, Deborah (Phillip) Roe, Judi (William) Osborne, and Tami (Jeffrey) Uebelacker; grandchildren Dustin (Julie) Hartman, Amber (Dylan) Smith, Jeffrey (Emma) Knapp, Michael (Hadley) Knapp, Courtney Roe, Matthew Roe, Liam Osborne, Kayley Osborne, Jason Uebelacker, and Andi Uebelacker; 8 great grandchildren Sadie, Cooper, Hattie, Barrett, Rose, Nolan, Caleb and Asher.

Fay worked for General Motors as the Manufacturing Superintendent for 30 years.  He worked for and volunteered for the Town of Hamlin.  Fay was an avid hunter and a wood craftsman.  Family was most important to him and was his greatest joy.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4-7 pm at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10 AM, in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
