Obituary of Valerie H. Bishop

Valerie M. Bishop (nee Holmes)

Brockport:     Passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at the age of 84 surrounded by her family’s love. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond Edward Bishop Jr. and her daughter Cynthia Louise Halstead (nee Bishop).

She is survived by her daughter Susan Elaine (David) Hansen (nee Bishop), her son Raymond Edward Bishop III (Sandy Chang), son-in-law Don Halstead, sister-in-law Melanie (Fred) Fiedler nee Bishop; grandchildren Christian Hansen, Lisa (Matt) Schofield, Julia (Greg) Lemoniades, Cynthia (Chad Mendez) Hansen, Christina, Laura and Lillian Bishop; great granddaughters Helen and Peregrine Schofield and many loving family and friends.

Valerie worked for GE for 10 years, was a Bus Driver for the Brockport School District for over 35 years and volunteered at Lakeside Memorial Hospital for a decade.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4 – 6 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport with a Funeral Service to follow at 6.
