Gloria will be remembered as a sweet woman with much love for her family.
Sharon fondly remembers the times she and Gail enjoyed lunches together with their moms. It was a special time the four of them shared.
We send our deepest sympathy to Gail, Jim, Chris and their entire family at this sad time.
Love,
Sharon and Jim Wylot

If I had one word to describe Gloria it would be “elegance”. If I had two words the second would be “strong”. What an incredible woman I was so blessed to have in my life!! I didn’t see Gloria often, but when I did her example set a precedence for me. As a shy child, when we would visit their home, she always made me feel welcomed and more importantly, loved! She made sure I was comfortable. I remember she handed me a game they had called labyrinth… Oh, my goodness, as an only child, I was in heaven! It was a marble run with holes, and you would have to manipulate different planes to score. Either she and Frank or Aunt Gail and Uncle Jim eventually gave me the game. I cannot tell you how many hours I spent on that. I even bought the game for myself as an adult because of those happy memories that she initially created! As I grew up and came back to Rochester and bought my own house, I ended up doing some sewing alterations for Gloria. Every time she came to my house, she was all class! She was dressed so elegantly, had such poise, and was so deeply gentle and kind. My daughter, Sophie, was a toddler at that time, and every time she came over she would bring a gift for Sophie, which I thought was absolutely profound. So extremely thoughtful! As she dealt with health challenges over the years…she just kept going!! What also struck me was her profound love for Frank! Her example of marriage. He was an amazing, strong, principled man with such extreme intelligence, talent and curiosity in life..not to mention a quick wit sense of humor! He had so much knowledge that if you asked a question he could go on about a situation. She would gently tap his knee and say, “Dear, it’s time to go” and move to the next thing. Gloria, you are now eternally with Frank and moving on to the next thing! Our deepest sympathy and love go to those who remain. You lived your life as a great example to me personally and you will be dearly missed. - ❤️Tammy
