Obituary of Mark A. Johengen

Mark A. Johengen of Brockport, NY passed away suddenly on February 27, 2022 at age 73.

Predeceased by his parents and siblings, Mark is survived by his sons; Eric (Gretchen) Johengen, Grant Johengen, and his grandson Melvin.

Mark proudly enlisted in the United States Army, faithfully serving on the frontlines during the Vietnam War. A man who could fix just about anything, he worked various jobs in the automotive and HVAC industries before starting his own automotive repair shop, becoming known as the “Radiator Man” before ultimately venturing into the roofing and siding business to close out his career.

Mark held his relationship with Jesus Christ above all else, and he was generous with his time, talents, and treasure.  He loved his family & friends, and he believed firmly in America as founded.  He also enjoyed the great outdoors, a trait that has been passed down to both of his sons and grandson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 19th 11:00 a.m. at Brockport Free Methodist Church.  All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to Brockport Free-Methodist Church, Operation Smile, or a Veterans organization of your choice.
