What a lovely lady was Avis Porter. I am so sorry I won't be with you at her celebration of life, but because of the pandemic, I prefer not to leave the house. Avis and I worked together for many years at Cosgrove. She had two daughters that she loved very much, and having two daughters myself, I loved hearing her talk of their growing up. She was a kind and gentle person and loved to laugh. Although she retired before me, we continued our friendship with the "senior" retirees at Olive Garden. She's with her beloved Bob now, and rest assured she touched many of us with her kindness.
