Nancy Jean House Darling died suddenly on October 16th, 2019 at the age of 76. She was born the second oldest of 7 children to Francis and Alice House in Fallon, NV. She grew up in western Colorado where she always loved to visit. She served as a PFC in the US Army from 1965-1966 when she met and married her husband Richard Darling. She worked for a number of years for JoAnn Fabrics in Rochester and later as a teaching assistant in Peoria, Il. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Shade (Christopher Wingate) of Brockport, NY and Denise Benjamin of San Francisco, Ca. She is also survived by grandchildren Kayleigh (Jesse) Bopp, Shawn (Tina) Corke, Cassandra (Brianna Daniels), Bethany Benjamin, and Sera Benjamin. She also has 8 great grandchildren. Her family will be receiving family and friends at the Fowler Funeral Home in Brockport, NY on 11/17/19 from 2-4 pm. Her Celebration of Life service will be held at Disciples UMC located at 4410 Holley-Byron Rd, Holley NY on 11/18/19 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Disciples UMC.
