I knew an Asher Flint years ago - I believe he was either attending or had graduated from St. Bonaventure. We were both getting contact lenses!! In those days you had to go to Whepley & Paul and they put the lenses in and then you had to sit for an hour or two in the waiting room -! We got talking and, if I remember right, he came out to my house in Pittsford one afternoon - we did a few things together but it wasn't a romance or anything - we just liked talking.
He came into my mind recently and I am sorry to see this obituary. Of course, this may not be the same person but the name is the same.
My sincerest condolences to the whole family.

Mr. Flint was such a sweet, kind and patient man. He was as quiet as my dad was loud. My parents loved him dearly. I remember us all cheering when he installed ceiling fans in our house and an answering machine on our land line. Fun times swimming in our pool in Texas. I know dad was yelling “Bud lets go fishing” as soon as he got to heaven. Hugs to all.
