You don't know me, but I'm sending you my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear mother. For some unknown reason, your Dad has been on my mind for a long time. Since I have been looking through historical newspapers, I located his death notice and your Mom's. I remember Doug always speaking so highly of his wife, Gen. I worked at Bourjois 1966 to 1974 and reported directly to your Dad for several years while I was there. Bourjois was like family to me and a job I will never forget. Russell and Rosemary were very great friends of mine. Doug could always talk my ears off, but for some reason, it didn't matter if I wasn't getting my work done...lol). Great memories I will NEVER forget!! I believe it was after Bourjois closed and I went to work at B&L, that I'd stop by the bowling alley to watch Doug and Russell bowl. I miss all of them so much. My thoughts are with you all. Sharon
