To the family of young Mr. Kane: I am so sorry for your loss. When death robs us of a loved one, how reassuring that the Bible introduces us to "the God of all comfort" (2 Cor. 1:3,4) and of His promise to soon undo 'all tears, pain and even death' (Rev. 21:4). Yet many wonder why God allows suffering in the first place? What is the real condition of the dead?
