Passed away peacefully on August 29, 2018 at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents Wyatt and Christine, brother Wyatt, brother in law Tom and sister-in-law Lucille. He is survived by his sister Dorothy Pryor, his childhood sweetheart and loving wife Donna Bolton Raleigh, daughters Linda Raleigh and Shelly Heidorn, granddaughters Chelsea and Catherine Raleigh, great grandchildren Sienna, Miles and Autumn Rose, many nieces, nephews and their families, cousins Mary Martha Ryan (Milt), sister in law Georgiann Bolton (John) Toal, brother-in-law Patrick (Janet) Bolton and family, also dear friends Bill Iveson, Dave Thomas, Harry Tufano and Tom and Ann Penner.
Ron will be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes and missed by all who knew and loved him. He graduated from Brockport High School and RIT. Ron attended the U of R and retired from Kodak. In addition to a successful professional life, he enjoyed time with family and friends, travelling to Spain, England, Hawaii, Colorado and Alaska, disc golf, coaching little girls soccer, music, his church family, he wrote 2 books of geneology, and many Kodak Patons. Ron was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Kodak Foreman's Club, a member and president of Nativity Church BVM Parish Council, softball, and was an avid bowler for over 25 years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 5th at 10:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave., Rochester, NY. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Wilmot Cancer Institute: www.urmc.rochester.edu/cancer-institute or to Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport, 170 West Ave., Brockport, NY 14420. Arrangements entrusted to Folwer Funeral Home Inc.
