Mr. Frisbee was a wonderful English teacher, and I learned so much about reading poetry for deeper meaning. To this day I get so much more out of poems I read than I would have without Mr. Frisbee's excellent teaching. He was a great neighbor and friend too. He was always kind to us Ecklund kids riding around the block on our bikes and running and playing through the yards. A great man with a wonderful sense of humor - and a beautiful family, too!
My condolences on your loss, and keeping you all in prayer, especially Brian, my classmate and bus-riding buddy, and friend. Stay blessed - and pass it on!

Mr Frisbee has always had a fond place in our hearts. Even long after high school - he remembered a particular antique interest I had and saved a book "treasure" for me. I still have it and am still touched that he did that. Most sincere condolences to all the family.

Brockport was my third high school in as many years, and Mr. Frisbee was one of the first teachers to make me feel welcome, somehow seeing through my shyness and lack of social skills. He made me think, he challenged me to do better, and is most likely responsible for the fact that I survived the literature classes in college.
I have never forgotten his quiet support and his confidence that I was actually more capable than I thought I was.
My thoughts and prayers to Brian, Ken, and the rest of the Frisbee family.

Mr. Frisbee was one of my favorite teachers because he was so kind and genuinely cared about ensuring his students understood the material. I still remember when he compared my writing style to Thoreau's! I'm so very sorry for your families loss, but please know what an impact he had on his students.

I am so sad to hear this news. Mr. Frisbee was one of my favorite teachers and has inspired me throughout all of my adult life. His English classes were always provocative and his class on death opened my eyes to the world of funeral homes and the big business that is. Every time I sit down to write a short story, poem, or work on my novel I think of him. May his family find peace and comfort in knowing he touched so many lives. RIP Mr. Frisbee, I am honored our paths did cross.
