Obituary of Jacob D. Brien

Jacob, 31, passed suddenly on February 27, 2018 due to complications of a long-term illness. He resided in Albion for the majority of his life. Jacob attended and graduated from the NY State School for the Blind in Batavia. He moved to Minnesota in 2009 where he lived with his parents Ronald and Sandra and sister Amy until his passing. Jake was well known for his beautiful eyes and infectious smile. Everyone who met him felt how much he was loved and adored by his large family, especially sisters Lisa and Jessica. His family proudly chose to honor him by opting to continue his life through organ and tissue donation. Jacob is survived by his parents Ronald and Sandra (Newbould) Brien, of Minnesota. Sisters Amy Brien of Minnesota, Lisa and Timothy Hawryschuk of Ohio, Jessica and John Feyes of Buffalo. He is also survived by nephew Owen Hawryschuk, niece Evie Feyes, maternal grandmother Barbara (Allport) Newbould and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jacob is predeceased by grandparents Wallice and Audrey (Webster) Brien and Donald Newbould, as well as paternal aunt Mary Ann and cousin Kerstin Brien. A Memorial Service will be held between 2-5 pm on March 17, 2018 at Fowler Funeral Home in Brockport.
