Obituary of Harland J. Dalaba

Harland John Dalaba, 85, of Cortland, NY previously of Brockport, NY passed away on January 5, 2018 as a result of sequelae from vascular dementia and Parkinsonian Syndrome. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, Jan 14 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc. 340 West Ave, Brockport, NY 14420 with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Harland was born in Clarkson on August 16, 1932. He worked at General Electric for 28 years and Black and Decker for 2 years as head of the receiving department. He was a kind, caring, compassionate man who was always willing to help someone in need. Harland is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bernice (Jenks), children Mark, Wayne (Didi), Susan (Sue), 5 grandchildren, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Elinor, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Carson and Isabelle, brother James, and sister Geraldine. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the Michael J.
