Mann, Carol W. Brockport: On Thursday September 1, 2016 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her loving husband George Jay Mann, parents Corla Francisco and John Alden Werden, brother Curtis Werden, sisters-in-law Kathleen (Robert) Martin and Grace (Herbert) VanGraafeiland. She is survived by her children Kathy (Jim) Pricola, Jeff (Laura) Mann, Jill (Eric) Klotzbach and Kevin (Aileen) Mann, grandchildren Jamie (Jarrod) Miner, Molly (Joe) Chimino, Hayley Lown, Adeline, Jack and Connor Mann, step-grandchildren Caitlyn and Kyle Klotzbach, great-grandchild Declan Miner, sister-in-law Patricia Werden, nieces and nephews Linda (Hank) Lukaski, James Werden, Joan (Nick) Zappa, David (Zoe) Werden, Susan (Curtiss) Carpenter, Judy (Rene) Hensel, Janet (Ronald) Boehly, Joan Martin, Carole (Robert) Barrus, Mark and Michael VanGraafeiland. Carol was born July 7, 1934 and was a graduate of Wauconda High School and Northern Illinois University. After raising her family and retiring from Brockport Central School as a Library Media Assistant, she continued to travel throughout the United States with George including a memorable cross country trip to Alaska. She loved gardening, reading, birdwatching and cross stitch. She was a longtime member of the Brockport United Methodist Church, including the Zipporah women's church group and a member of the BFF Book Club (Book Friends Forever). "Mom / Grandma, we saw the moon tonight and thought of you…and always will." Friends may call on Friday September 9th from 4-7 PM at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 10th at 10:00 AM in the Brockport United Methodist Church, 92 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Brockport United Methodist Church or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
