Obituary of Charles D. Beaney

Charles (Chuck) Donald Beaney, born December 3, 1950, passed away June 29, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. Chuck was raised in Allen Park, Michigan and attended Allen Park High School. While at Allen Park High, Chuck was an outstanding athlete lettering in football, basketball, and baseball. Upon graduation Chuck attended Bowling Green State University on a football scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree. After graduation, Chuck started his business career in sales and marketing. He worked for a variety of companies ranging in scope from regional to global influence. Most notably, he managed sheet plastics globally for the General Electric Company. Upon his retirement Chuck settled in the Jacksonville area and enjoyed many pastimes such as cooking, fishing, woodworking, and most importantly spending time with family. He is survived by two daughters, Christine Mahand, her husband Jerry and grandchildren Lily and Tristan Mahand; and Kellie McDole and granddaughter Meara McDole. He is also survived by brother Albert Beaney and his wife Nancy, and nephews Donald and Steven Beaney, and niece Emily Beaney; and sister Anne Loverde and her husband John. He is also survived by his very close friend and confidant Lee Weaver, and her family including Eddie, Robbie, Summer and Wyatt Weaver. Chuck will be laid to rest in Brockport, New York on July 16, 2016 at 11:00am with a graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association.
