Obituary of Laurence E. Stephens

Stephens, Laurence E. Jr. Brockport: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday July 23, 2016 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his parents Laurence Sr. and Thelma, sisters Carol Rogers and Joanne Keenan. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Linda; children Gail Winkler, Mark, Laurie (Andrew) Mangold, Brenda (Robert) Stephens-Franco, Jill Beyer, Tamara (John Kerry) Pardue, 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Larry was born in Canisteo New York and loved growing up on his grandparent's farm. He worked for Niagara Mohawk for over 30 years and retired to his farm on Ladue Road. Larry never met a stranger and was always the first to offer help to anyone who needed it. His great joy in life was his wife Linda and the life they shared. He was a devoted to all of his family and shared a special relationship with each one. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 6 at 11 am at the Bergen United Methodist Church, 27 S. Lake Ave, Bergen, NY 14461. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Parkinson's Foundation or Lifetime Care Hospice.
