To the family of Helen, I send my most sincere condolences to you all. I had the pleasure of working with Helen at the Children's Center. She is one of the sweetest people I know, always so willing to stop what she was doing to help anyone and answer any of the millions of questions that came through her office. I enjoyed listening to her talk about her grandchildren and who she was going to go visit and how those visits went. She shared with me her recipe for Christmas cutout cookies (and the funny story on how she came to find this recipe in a pinch one year). This has become my "go-to" ever since. ( I may have to make a batch in her honor!)
In my memories of working a the Children's Center Helen is always part of my fondest ones!!

Dear Family,
May I express my deepest sympathy with the death of your beloved Helen.
When I attended my husband, Walt's class reunion, I would seek out Helen to talk to.
Walt and I were excited when Helen came to Vermont to join Tom Keable's family on a ski vacation. We were able to have lunch and talk until she joined her family.
Whenever I would visit Brockport, I would try to phone Helen to find out what was happening with her.
Walt expressed that Helen was one of the smartest people in the class of 1953.
When Walt died, Helen made sure that I was invited to the 1953 class reunions even though I was a 1957 Brockport graduate.
Yes, I will miss Helen's kindness and sense of humor.
I know she will be missed by family and friends.
Love, Joanne Fegan Rittwage
