My condolences to all in Neil's passing. I remember him fondly as 'Uncle Neil' from back in the old days of family reunions in Kent and Morton. Of course he wasn't really my uncle (grandma's sister's son is what?) Anyway, he often had a special twinkle in his eye and I always got the feeling there was a lot going on in there. I know he was finding humor in it all. I also worked at the college and had the pleasure of seeing him time to time where we would catch up and remember the old days. He will be missed. My love to all, sure makes the holidays difficult.

Ellie, Michelle, Aunt Linda and the rest of the family. I pass along my sincerest sympathy in the passing of Uncle Neil. I have so many memories of the my younger years that I spent with my Uncle. Someone else mentioned this, but as a young teenager growing up I remember when my Grandparents and Uncle Neil lived on Kenmore Road next to the Canning Factory. That Traffic light he had in his bedroom was something else, no I don't know we're it came from but it did work. Uncle Neil was a good electrician but he was very good with electronic's as I most of you who works at the College of Brockport know. Every time I hear or heard the chimes at the college I knew this was Uncle's doings. Many of you also know of his love for fire trucks and the one we had so much fun with, Morton 42! It's amazing we never got locked up, with all the fire convention's we went to and all the hell raising we did. I remember going to Redfield were both my Uncle George and Neil had a cottage. I believe we won water ball tournaments and also brought home trophies for the fire company come the farest.
Uncle Neil we weren't that close these past years, but you were always in my prayers. Thank you so much for the time we did have together. Now you can be not only with Clark, but Grandma, Grandpa, Dad and Uncle Jim. I'll miss seeing you riding up and down the sidewalks in Brockport.
Until we meet again, your nephew John

Neil was a little younger than I, but we hung out together for a few years before we went into the Air Force, after he graduated in 1963. We kept in touch, now and then over the years, and I'm sorry we didn't get together more. We'll keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

I was a good friend of Neils. We went to school together, got into trouble together.(nothing serious).Went double dating, trips to Canada to a firemans convention. Had alot of fun together thru high school at Kendall Central School. Neil was a man with electrical knowlege. I remember when I went to his house in Morton, he had a signal light in his room which was very bright. Didn't ask where it came from but as far I know there wasn't one missing in town. We joined the U.S.Air Force with two other guys from school in 1963. Stayed friends after. I will miss Neil and my condolences to his family and God bless you.
Sincerely,
Jerry Schiffhauer
