Maxon, Margot Ione "Cotter"
Brockport: Passed away on Friday July 31, 2015 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Richard, brother William Cotter of Exeter, NH, sister Maude Ohs of Atowah, NC. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca (William) Burger, grandson Marc (Tracy) Check, granddaughter Carolyn (Allen) Garrison, 3 great-granddaughters Sydney Guarino, Mallory Guarino and Kiley Check, also several nieces and nephews. Margot was a retired teacher from the Rochester City School District, a member of the Eastern Star in Kendall and a member of the Hamlin Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Friends may call on Wednesday August 5 from 5-7 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport where her funeral service will be held following calling hours at 7 pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S. Winton Rd., Rochester, NY14623.
