I value every person I've met in my life but there are certain people who make an indelible mark on me. Lance is definitely up at the top of my list. He was, and that is a difficult thing to write, one of the nicest, kindest persons I've ever had the pleasure of working with and getting to know. He had a skill that not many in our profession possess. A heart of compassion combined with a keen ability to provide the best support anyone could for the individuals we support. It was always a highlight of my day when I crossed paths with him. When he had his office at 465 Paul Rd and it was just across from mine I was delighted. Neither of us had much time but I always enjoyed our brief talks. He was always smiling and uplifting. His passing I know is such a loss to his family, to me and to the profession we both were honored to be in. I will miss this man so much.
