God I can't believe I missed this. Lance was a huge part of my Brockport life. Roommate and friend. Brilliant, talented and funny. Gone way too soon.

Bert and family, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I have heard countless stories attesting to the positive influence Lance has been to other employees, the people he worked with, and their families. Lance was such a nice person to encounter, obviously a very caring and compassionate man. He will be dearly missed.
Sincerely,
Abbey

27 years ago Lance walked into my Work Unit, at LAICO Industries, to find an individual he was advocating for. It was my first week and we hadn't met yet. Lance wasted no time introducing himself and he never forgot my name thereafter.
No matter what department I worked in, if Lance saw me he always stopped to say hello and was able to recant conversations we had weeks prior. I worked with Lance briefly in Quality Assurance and became aware of what an extraordinary human being he was.
In all my years at Lifetime I never heard anyone say a bad word about Lance and more importantly I never heard Lance say a bad word about anyone either.
Bert my condolences to you and your family Lance put the Gentle in the word Gentleman!!!
God Bless!

I worked directly with Lance for almost 13 years and you can't find a better man. He had the largest heart and he was so compassionate. He made me smile and laugh more times than I could possibly count. He was always there for me if I ever needed something and that was just the kind of man he he was. He was always there to lend a helping hand or just to listen if someone needed to talk. I will greatly miss him but I know he is watching over all of us.

I value every person I've met in my life but there are certain people who make an indelible mark on me. Lance is definitely up at the top of my list. He was, and that is a difficult thing to write, one of the nicest, kindest persons I've ever had the pleasure of working with and getting to know. He had a skill that not many in our profession possess. A heart of compassion combined with a keen ability to provide the best support anyone could for the individuals we support. It was always a highlight of my day when I crossed paths with him. When he had his office at 465 Paul Rd and it was just across from mine I was delighted. Neither of us had much time but I always enjoyed our brief talks. He was always smiling and uplifting. His passing I know is such a loss to his family, to me and to the profession we both were honored to be in. I will miss this man so much. To my old friend Lance, aka 'The Dipper'. We spent many hours together on the basketball court, hanging out, and enjoying life in old forge. Rest in peace #13, my friend. Hawk.

Dear Bert and family,
. I'm very sorry to hear of Lance's passing. I cannot imagine the number of lives Lance touched in his lifetime. Although many years have gone by since I last worked with Lance, I can still recall many a chats he and I had. He shared with me some of his wisdom on how to be a better person as well as an employee at the time. I carried that wisdom with me to this day, and I'm greatful for it.
. With my deepest sympathy. God bless all of you, Tony
