Obituary of David B. Phillips

Phillips, David B. Hamlin: On Monday July 14, 2014 at the age of 57. Predeceased by his parents S. Jack & Leona Phillips, his brother Paul Phillips and father-in-law Jack Lazarus. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carol; children Jeffery (Kara), Dawn (Wesley) Byfield, Tim (Janice), Brian (Candice), 10 grandchildren, brother Jack (Nancy), mother-in-law Rosemary Lazarus, several nieces and nephews, special brothers and sisters-in-law and dear friend Dan Kraemer. Dave was a retiree of Rochester Gas and Electric and was a former Hamlin Fire Fighter and Commissioner. Friends may call on Friday July 18 from 5-8 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport, where a funeral service will be held following calling hours at 8 pm. Inurnment will be held on Saturday at 9 am in Lakeside Cemetery, Moscow Rd. Hamlin. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the care givers at Strong Memorial Hospital 7-1600 and 7-3400 for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Strong Memorial Hospital, Unit 7-3400 for patients' amenities.
