Obituary of Charlotte M. Bruney

Bruney, Charlotte M. Churchville / Brockport: Passed away on Sunday January 5, 2014 at the age of 60. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Irene and her sister Daphne Lewis Lofton. She is survived by her brother Joseph G. (Elaine) Bruney Jr., nieces Heather and Rani Lewis and many dear friends especially the Hawks and Palumbos families. Charlotte was a beloved Pastoral Administrator for St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Oxford, CT for 6 years, St. Vincent de Paul Church in Churchville, NY for 13 years and Nativity Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport, NY for 2 years. Charlotte also was a High School Mathematics Teacher at Hopkins School in New Haven, CT for 10 years. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 11 North Main Street, Churchville, NY 14428 where a service will be held following calling hours at 7 pm. Bishop Emeritus Matthew H. Clark will preside at the Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, 10:30am in Nativity Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 152 Main Street, Brockport, NY 14420. Interment will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, St. Vincent de Paul Church, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church or Patrick Place Comfort Care Home in Charlotte’s memory.
