I was so shocked to find this obit. I tried to contact Joyce a couple years ago. We were friends and classmates in high school. I just want to say Joyce was the funniest person I knew, kind and really fun to be around. I'm so sorry for your loss and saddened to not be able to reconnect before. Mavis

Joyce...where do I begin? Joyce, you were more than a friend. You were a mentor, a sounding board, a stern upper hand, a voice to be reckoned with, a partner in crime, laughter in the silence and most of all you were like a mother to me. Worked with Joyce for quite a few years, she was always a joy, a person to offer direction and give help if ever needed. She always had a hug to give freely. Will miss her dearly, God has another angel to help watch over the rest of us.
