(I could not read this yesterday)
For Papa:
I never could have prepared myself for the day I would lose my Papa. All I know is it came way too soon. He was my rock, my guardian, my Papa, the most important person in my life. He was loved and respected by so many. He always looked out for others before even thinking about himself. He would give the shirt off his back, and his last penny to help somebody else, or make them happy. Truly a great man- expecting nothing in return. He never wanted anyone to worry about him, or to have to go out of their way. He was my role model, and a great dancer. He never said much. He let Nana do most of the talking- But, when he did say something it was truly meaningful and worth hearing- or funny/sarcastic since he was a jokester! Nobody can ever replace my Papa. Loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, mayor, and friend. May the angels lead you in. I hope to see you again someday where you are no longer suffering. Until then I will never take a moment for granted. Please continue to look down on us. Give us strength in these times of mourning and guide us to make us the best we can be. I trust you to keep us safe under your wings. When I see you again- Just remember the dip, and to save the last dance for me.
Love Always,
Your TeddyBear <3

Brockport has lost someone very special. I remember Jim years ago as such a kind, sweet, lovely guy. My mom used to tell me how she and her friends "swooned" over Gene Stull. Must say my friends and I "swooned" over Jim Stull! My thoughts and prayers are with Neala and the family he loved so much.

When visiting Mom on Mercer St. I would frequently see Jim shoveling a walk, mowing the front yard, or washing a car. He always took the time out to inquire how my Mom was doing. That was just his way, thinking of others welfare before his own. I've know Jim and Neala since high school and especially as neighbors for many years. I am going to miss our "little talks"and my heart goes out to Neala and the family as they deal with this episode in their lives. May the Lord bless and keep you all.

Neala, Several weeks ago I received a phone call from Jim as he wanted to know how I was recuperating from my recent hip surgery. I did not know the extent of Jims illness and being Jim, he was more concerned about my health than his conditions. We talked about many things but mostly he wanted to talk about family. Always a gentlemen, kind and caring soul and Chris and I hope you find comfort in the many memories your family has of Jim. Love and prayers.. Larry and Chris Eastman
