Our sincere sympathies go out to the Mattison family. We got to know Mark after buying land which backs up to his property. He came to our rescue on more than one occasion. A great man who won't be forgotten!

A Poem Dedicated to Mark Mattison written by Marc Montrallo
Up each morning before the dawn
Eggs and bacon and coffee black as night.
Kiss his wife tenderly.
Pulls his work boots on.
There's turkeys to feed and water
Soil to plow and disk
Corn to fertilize and harvest
Salt and stone to haul.
For this farmer,
The work never ends
He doesn't mind
Farming is his passion.
Always in the barn
Beeer in his hand
Quick with a joke
Willing to help
Standing by the corn
Watching the wind blow
Blue, Gunner, Tor and Toke sitting by his side
He'll look to us and say
Let's don't say goodbye
I hate the way it sounds
So if you don't mind
Let's just say for now.

Mark loved to ride his motorcycle. Whenever we went on a ride he would take the lead. He was our road map. He knew all the roads. We will be lost without him.
Our heart felt condolences go to the Mattison family for their loss.

Mark was more like a brother than a brother-in-law. We vacationed together with our families and he helped me many times on different projects I had and in turn I would for him. I learned alot about car repair from Mark even though he would usually jump in and do the job himself. I wish he would have enjoyed life a little more instead of working all the time, but I guess in the end it was his work that he loved. Goodbye Mark I'm going to miss you and if I never said I love you too.

Sharon, please accept my sympathy in the loss of your husband. I've been down that road and it takes time, but, as you know he is in a better place, but the lives of the family have to go on. I look forward to seeing your smile when I come in the office.

Sharon there are no words that can take away the loss that you and your family must be feeling. When you tell someone "you'll love them forever" who would know forever would be so short...we are so sorry for your loss.

I will remember Mark as always the first one of the group in my driveway to head out on a motorbike ride. Never one to complain, he was just a fun guy to be around. Quiet, but ready for a good laugh. We will miss your presence in the pack. Our prayers are with the Mattison family.
