I came today to the cemetery to water the flowers on the grave of my own mother, Margaret P. Lakeberg, of Rochester, New York, who died in 2005. I found a holy card in your mother's memory on the grass. God bless her and rest her in peace. She must have been a wonderful mother, raising 10 children and having so many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and siblings. I hope you are all doing well.

I've know Mrs.Arnold for about 45+ years now. She always treated me great. She would offer me a hamburger, and of course a pile of string beans.Later when Sue and I married she turned out to be the "perfect"
mother inlaw. She never interfered, she would wait and see how things turned out and always was there to talk with. Yes she loved babyies, it seemed she was always holding one.
She would start calling the family members about 3 months ahead to remind them of the "family" reunion in July and wouldn't stop calling till you agreed to go. Recently when visiting her (usually on Sunday) we would be sitting around and she would be doing her word books.but we would also catch her doseing off.
She will be remembered not only as her husbands wife but a Mother, a grandmother a mother inlaw and a true friend to all.
She is and will be missed
I am glad to ne your first son inlaw.

We will always remember Grandma Arnold's smile and love for all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her garden. She loved a very simple life and it was reflected in how pleasant she always was and satisfied with her family and their gatherings.

Rest in Peace knowing that you raised a wonderful caring family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family as I know how much you will be missed.

As I read the previous entries I realized that you were truly loved by everyone who met you, not just your children and family. That's because you were lovable, kind and generous with your time and love of life. I know you are in Heaven now. Rest in peace you earned it.

Mom,what can I say, You were the best 2nd Mom the Lord could have blessed me with. Right from the start, you welcomed me into your big beautiful family. You were kind loving supportive, and lots of fun to be with. You raised so many wonderful children, and graciously made me a daughter of your heart. You feed us, delighted in our life, our children and encouraged us, comforted us, and showed me how to be the best Mom I could be. You were my inspiration. You were always happy and positive about all things. You never needed nor wanted material things. Family time, quiet talks and lots of laughter was all that was really important to you. You truly showed what unconditional love is. My heart is so sad at the thought of not having you here with us all, God must of really needed you,at the speed of which he came for you, I know he welcomed you with open arms, my heart is at peace knowing you are with him, and even though we had no time to say goodbye, I know you knew how very much I loved you, and you me. Im sure you knew the depth of all of our love, your family. My life was so enriched by knowing you, my friend, my mother, Thank you for my Arnold family, everyone of them. Love is a two sided coin with much love there is also much pain. but the pain we feel now was worth every bit of the love we shared. Have a great time where you live now, until we meet again, and know I will take good care of your son and I will be here for the rest of your family too. love you always, Cindy

I am so grateful that God blessed me with such a wonderful mother. I'm just as grateful that my mother then blessed me with such wonderful brothers and sisters. I have a wonderful family that I adore. Our lives will never be the same without her but memories of her will make me smile all the remaining days of my life. The only person that comes to mind that even comes close to being totaly unselfish and always putting others before herself is Mother Theresa but then again, Mother Theresa didn't raise 11 kids. Rest in peace my dear sweet mother and say hi to dad and brother John for me....
