Dad, you will get your wish of finally riding my motorcycle since you had to give up riding. I will miss your teasing me our card games together, and most of all your shaking of your head when I was making fun of you. I really missed our hunting together with the Johnston clan. We all will miss you very much. I do remember those few times I was able to ride in your 18 wheeler. That was really fun. You once told me I will miss your Bit--ing when you are gone and you were right. You were not only a father to me but a best friend as well. Say hello to Uncle John up there for me, and reserve a spot for the way future for the rest of us.
With love
Your son

Uncle John,
We all will miss you. I remember all the good times we had camping and at family gatherings. I will especially miss that laugh of yours and how you always loved to get my dad or your "Skinny Rick" as you called him, going. I too remember riding in your rig a time or two or on your tractors at your house. You always did have a good story to tell and and I think the more we laughed, the better they got. I will always remember them.
Love,
Christopher, Michelle and kids.

Bob, Teresa, and famiy,
My prayers go out to you and the family. It is so hard to loose someone you love, know that my thoughts are with you. I will always remember how John picked on all of us and especially Robin with her nickname that he had for her. May God bless you and keep you in your hour of need.

John was always great toward our extended family. Took my brother Mark on a road trip, when he was still running the roads, that he still talks about, (but not in detail!). My brother Rick enjoyed him very much. John always had a joke to tell and brought many smiles to all of us. "Aunt Terry", He loved you very much! I am sure Heaven is listining to all his tales now. My thoughts and prayers are with the family

God Bless, Uncle Johnnie! I cannot believe you called anyone but ME "hot lips"! You were a great man, Uncle Johnnie - and whenever you were around, everyone was laughing (sometimes crying, we would laugh so hard!). I know Donna, Ed and Dody are all welcoming you in heaven with open arms. I'll never forget the pie you brought Donna just days before she died, you sweetie pie. Will keep you and Aunt Terri in all our prayers.

My Dad would sometimes regale us with stories of when he, "Little John" & others were kids... when almost everything cost a nickel, riding bikes from the city out to Honeoye Falls, riding around on the trolley, diving off the locks into the canal & swimming in a quarry -- not to mention making mischief! God Bless them both. Jan

John,
Thank you for all the wonderful memories. When I moved next door to you and Terri, I was so blessed to have great nieghbors that quickly turned into family. You and Terri had become "grandparents" to my 4 children. I will deeply miss our conversations, lawn mower races, and many laughs! You have touched my life in more ways than I could ever express.
Your "Sugar Lips"
