Olive J. Weber

Olive J. Weber passed away peacefully at the Grand of Batavia on April 21, 2024. She was 94. 

She is predeceased by her parents William and Helen (Colson) Weber, her brothers Laurence and David Weber, sister Edith Shafer and nephew Richard Weber.

Olive is survived by her sister Katharine Sheffield and nieces Karen (Robert) Gerenski and Sandra (Robert) Baxter and their families.

She was born in Batavia and grew up in East Bethany. She attended Pavillon Central High school, graduating as Salutatorian of the class of 1948.

As an adult she lived in Batavia and worked as a lab technician for many years at Batavia Dental Lab. In her younger years, she enjoyed attending antiques shows, romance novels and collecting bird figurines. She enjoyed family holiday celebrations and would gladly take home extra cookies or candy indulging her sweet tooth.  

Olive will be laid to rest at a private graveside service at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, NY
