Obituary of Constance J. Lenden

Constance J. “Connie” Donovan Lenden  

Brockport: Passed away peacefully surrounded by her three daughters on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on February 11, 1935, in Oswego, NY, Connie was the daughter of Francis and Evelyn (Hanes) Donovan. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Robert J. Lenden and her sister Evelyn (Bill) Norman. She is survived by her daughters Karen (Nat) Lester, Patricia (James) Nicholson and Julie Lenden, grandchildren Kathryn (Drew) Sharkey, Matthew (Claire) Lester, Megan Lester, Jason and Ryan Nicholson, three great-grandsons, Bennett and James Sharkey and Beckham Lester, several nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

A loving mother and grandmother, Connie enjoyed photography, interior decorating and spending time with friends and family. She faithfully and lovingly supported and cared for her husband for many years during his battle with early onset Parkinson’s Disease. 

A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
