Passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her brother Robert Butler and son-in-law Mark Delavak. She is survived by her daughters Lori Delavak and Wendy Knight, grandchildren Daniel (Jessica) Knight, Connor (Erin) Delavak, Elizabeth (Lorenzo) Nunez, Ettie (Michael) Barry, Luke Delavak, and two great grandsons.
For 27 years, Ann was an elementary teacher with the Hilton Central School District. She was an avid reader, quilter, artist, animal lover and gardener. She was highly involved in the community and Senior Center. She valued her lifelong friendships and lasting relationships. Although diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Ann handled the progression of this disease with strength and dignity. She accepted her limitations and was determined to make modifications to maintain her independent lifestyle, in order, to do the things she wanted to do.
Ann was a loving Mother, Gramma and Great Gramma. As a mother she was determined to raise her daughters to be independent, responsible, and compassionate adults. As a Gramma she used every opportunity to teach her grandchildren valuable lessons to navigate through life. It was important to her to be part of all their various activities. Ann was lucky enough to spend her 89 th birthday with her two great grandsons and all her grandchildren. Family was cherished.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 16 th from 2-4 pm at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport, where a funeral service will follow at 4 pm.
Interment will be held privately.
