Gary, Anthony and Jamie what can I say. We lost a wonderful loving woman. I have know here for over 50 yrs. I was always on Bennett Ave. Sitting in the garage and eating Mr. Mules favorite Hot Dogs! I spent so many Christmases and other Holidays even when Gary was in the Navy, California or Florida. They were like my second parents of my childhood. After all those years I never called her by her first name. So in saying that RIP Mrs. Mule I love you xxxooo

Rosie, you were our favorite spitfire on second floor. From your advice, stories of your life, and to ordering us girls around, there never ever was a dull moment. You will be deeply missed! My condolences to your family ❤️

It’s hard to talk about my Mom without also talking about my Dad who we lost in 1996. They taught me about life. Not by their words, but by their actions which was common for that generation. They showed me a strong relationship was based not only in love but in mutual respect and trust. They taught me to judge a person by their words and deeds, nothing else. My Mom had a saying she used to tell me throughout my life:
“If you want to dance, you have to pay the band”.
It took me a while to get the real meaning of that:
Actions have consequences.
She always made me admit when I did something wrong and accept the punishment (which happened a lot). That saying still rings true today with me and it has become the cornerstone for my moral compass. Watching someone you love pass away in stages is bittersweet. However, I got the chance to hear their life stories, dreams, and fears as not only a son but as a friend. I will miss her as my Mom and as my friend.
Fair Winds and Following Seas
I love you
Gary
