Alberta “Bert” P. Root

Kent: September 24, 1947 – October 18, 2023. Unexpectedly went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday October 18, 2023.  Predeceased by her life partner Lance, her daughter Patricia, and her grandson Tommy. 

Survived by her daughters Gail (Colin) Martin, Reneé (jeff) Ross and son Paul (Cesler) Root, father of her children Charles Root, son-in-law Tom Harper, grandsons Anthony Harper, Scott (Amber) Flynn, Nicholas Walls, granddaughter Kelly (Chris) Milizia and her beloved dog Reggie.

Bert worked for over 40 years with Lifetime Assistance and touched many lives.  She enjoyed crocheting and feeding the birds.  Most importantly, Bert loved spending time with family.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 3-6 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport.  Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to Lifetime Assistance in Bert’s memory.
