Susan C. (Thayer) Hughes

Passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023, at the age of 71 surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, James (July 2022), and parents Jack and Florence Thayer of Brockport. Survived by her siblings Mark (Sandy) Thayer, Dick (Laura) Thayer, Mollie (Mike) Schuff, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and “Wolfie.”
Susan was born January 6, 1952, and grew up on the family homestead in West Sweden. She graduated from Brockport High School and SUNY Geneseo, and retired from Delco/ITT/Valeo.

Per her wishes, there will be a private interment with no calling hours.
