Obituary of Diane L. Frisch

Diane L. Frisch passed July 29, 2023 at age 77. She was predeceased by parents Wilbur Muckle and Helen (Frank) Beatty. She is survived by her husband Norman, her son Aaron (Julianna) Frisch, her daughter Sarah (Brian) Davis, adored grandchildren Ramon and Addison and close family members Donald and Pamella (Brink) Diltz and Carol (Shanhart) Frisch.

Diane was a secretary at SUNY College at Brockport, eventually working for President Brown. Following that she devoted her life to her family and home. She enjoyed and the family benefitted from her interests and expertise in sewing, cooking, gardening and crafting. Once Aaron and Sarah were in school, she became involved with and supported their participation in the Brockport United Methodist Church, Boy and Girl Scouting, Little League baseball and school musical ensembles.

Starting 28 years ago she experienced continuous major health issues. She never complained and instead modified her lifestyle to accept each “new normal” as it came to be. She expanded her volunteer work at the Brockport United Methodist Church and added Byron-Bergen class of 1963 reunions and the hospital Fig Twig to her endeavors—while continuing to put others before herself.

Calling hours will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, August 7 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport with a 10:00 a.m. service held there Wednesday, August 9, followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport.
