Wayne E. Wilson
Rochester: Passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at the age of 87. Predeceased by his 8 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years; Patricia, daughter Susie St. John, very good friend Dick Belair, 2 nephews and caregivers Chris Clark and Paul Stenzel, special neighbors Dave and Sue Vittamo, caregiver Alla Silvaka, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Wayne worked at Eastman Kodak for 33 years. He was an avid animal lover who built special housing in his backyard for all the cats he lovingly rescued. Wayne was also an accomplished gardener who grew and sold crossed pollinated Iris flowers with vibrant new color variations.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 7th at 12:00 noon in the Riverview Cemetery, 3940 East River Road, West Henrietta, NY 14586. Those wishing may contribute to the Best Friends Sanctuary, https://bestfriends.org in Wayne’s memory.
