Moved into the mysterious unknown after departing his body which had been his home for more than 92 years. Predeceased by his father Bob, mother Eleanor, ex-wife saint Helen, beautifully sensitive daughter Cheryl and life-long friend Mary Ann Baumgartner of Geneva. Survived by his loving companion Linda Chamberlain, his son Gary, daughter Susan, son-in-law Kevin Thompson, granddaughter Katelyn and grandsons Michael and Nicholas. He also leaves behind loving family members, friends and a cold martini.

During his years of retirement Don found a number of ways to keep upbeat and motivated. He enjoyed Broadway Theater League, Geva, Syracuse Football, Basketball at Brockport and taking long walks in the park with his dogs. He was a member of the Webster Democratic Committee, enjoyed gardening, attending the First Unitarian Universalist Church, working out and being a hospice volunteer.
