Debbie was a cousin but we considered ourselves sisters. We shared all the good times and bad through caring, talking, and understanding, especially as adults. Raising our children brought a new level of closeness as we often leaned on one another for advice and shared the funny episodes of parenting as well. We refined the art of TALKING! Debbie and I shared interests such as reading (even enjoying the same type of book) and sewing. As mature women we still shared the adventures of our grown children and grandchildren. We just loved to spend an afternoon chatting, and “solving the problems of the world” she often said. Recently she had been talking often of her Mother and I find great peace to believe she is with her now. Love you forever, dear friend.
