We’re saddened about the passing of Gilbert. He was our neighbor and dear friend. Gilbert always had a smile, kind word and sense of humor. One day Rob asked if the race car was to loud and Gilbert said he opened the window so he could hear the engine better. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the Family.

Gilbert was a good man, he will be missed by many. I always enjoyed our talks when our paths crossed through the years. My son and I spent many a Saturday night at Brockport International Speedway, Gil was always there to share his knowledge give suggestions to help out. A lot of great memories! Thinking of Betty and the entire Glidden family at this time

Praise Jesus - Gill has been called home. I remember Gill with his incredible smile, so loving and such a gentle man, always had a kind word to everyone. I will miss him, but am filled with joy knowing he is with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The human mind cannot comprehend the joy one will feel walking beside the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS Jesus Christ and to touch his nail scared hands. What a loss to all. Gil was a great and gentle soul who touched sooo many lives, especailly the children on his school bus including mine. Our family made yellow G7 tee shirts and watched him race his car at the track one night. And there was this smile that one would never forget.
