Emma Jean Ellison

Holley:     Passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the age of 73. Predeceased by her parents Waldo and Hattie Ellison, brothers Bobby Lee Walls, William Harrison Ellison, Waldo Ellison Jr., and grandson Corey B. Vance.

She is survived by her loving children Timothy (Barbara) Kreel, Joseph (Phuong) Kreel, Christina Salvatore, Theresa (Darren) Vance and Julie (Angel Quiles) Rushton, 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 brothers James, Carl, and Donald “Duck” Ellison, sisters Elzada Shilo, Nancy Spivey, several nieces and nephews.  Special mention to her grandchildren Ashley Le Fevre, Dionne Hildreth and Jamal Hildreth for their loving care during her illness.

Emma had many jobs throughout her life but her favorite was Mother and friend. She approached the second part of her life with love and devotion to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Emma Jean was a character to say the least, always striving to put a smile on others. She faced all her struggles with strength and courage, but always with a touch of humor. At the end of her days, she still strived to make us laugh. Laugh we did, hold hands, we did, love each other, we did. Fulfilling her wish that we all come together and now it's up to us to stay that way. So take a moment to hug those you love every chance you get. 

Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 4 – 7 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport.
