William is survived by his children:  William S. Benz of Brockport, Holly (Shawn) Wright of Waterport, and Jennifer (Corey) Lauler of Brockport. His 8 grandchildren: Hayley, Julia, Alana, James, Samantha, David (D.J.) Jr., Kaleb, and Johnathan. His 3 great grandchildren: KayLynn, Austin, and Eliana. His siblings: Barbara (Ronald) Mosher, Margaret "Peggy" Haley, Linda McGuire, and Robert (Darlene) Benz. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

William was preceded in death by his parents: John and Dorothy Benz, his sister Elizabeth "Bette" Croft, and brother-in-law Daniel McGuire.

Family will receive friends on Monday July 11th, 2022 from 4 to 7pm @ Fowler Funeral Home, which is located at 340 West Ave., Brockport, NY, 14420.
