Obituary of Mercedes M. Patt
Mercedes “Cedie” Patt, kind, loving and joyful mother, devoted Catholic parishioner, cherished aunt, sister, cousin, and friend to all, passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 86 with family by her side. Cedie lived in Hamlin, NY and during the winter she was at her happy place in North Ft. Myers, FL living life to the fullest with many friends and family who adored her.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Edward D. Patt, her daughter Carol Anne Patt, and her beloved fiancé of North Ft. Myers, FL, Charles Hoxie.
Survived by her children Merry (Dr. Albert) Devlin, Kim Marie (Kim G.) Connor, Edward G. (Tamara) Patt, grandchildren Thomas Jr., Kerri, Cameron and Kaitlin, great-grandchildren Hunter and Blake, several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, her two sisters, Evelyn and Dorothy, her sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Ralph, cousins, & many dear friends.
Cedie was very smart, quick-witted humor, great with numbers, bookkeeping and always knew how to have a good time. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, and gardening, watching Buffalo Bills football and was known for the best Dill Pickles.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 8 from 4 – 7 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc. 340 West Ave, Brockport, NY.
A Celebration of Life Catholic Mass will be held on Thursday, June 9 at 10 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3747 Brick Schoolhouse Rd, Hamlin, NY. A reception to follow at Tavern 19 in Hamlin.
