Dorothy J. Howell “Dottie”

Brockport: Passed away peacefully on Friday March 11, 2022, at the age of 87.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Leland A. Howell and special friend and companion of 17 years, Loren Knab.  She is survived by her special son and daughter-in-law, Craig (Ann); 2 grandchildren through marriage Matthew (Shelly) Schuth and David (Kristen) Schuth, 3 great grandchildren Maddox, Gavynn and AJ, brother Bob (Karen) Hoppe, sister Shirley (Mark) Sroka, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Dottie was active in all sports and love her Buffalo Bills.  She participated in music programs, enjoyed gardening, and arranging seasonal flowers at Tim Hortons.  Dottie was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport where she loved singing in the choir.  She enjoyed collecting things for her “gift shop” at home, but most precious to Dottie was spending time with her close-knit family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday March 17^th at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 35 State St., Brockport.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the First Presbyterian Church or the Brockport Ambulance Corp.  Arrangements entrusted to Fowler Funeral Home Inc.
