Obituary of Jim Guion

James “Jim” H. Guion

Hamlin:     Passed away unexpectedly at the age of 70 in his home on Thursday, March 10, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Harvey Sr. and Grace Guion. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Cinda; his devoted son Travis (Sara) Guion; his grandchildren James Guion, Josh Donaruma, Allison and Samantha Guion; his brother Harvey (Kathleen) Guion; sister Grace Gorman; several additional family members and many dear friends.

Jim joined the Hamlin Fire Department in 1975 and became a Lifetime Member, past Chief and Fire Commisioner. He had a robust thirst for life and enjoyed many activities with his family and friends. He was an avid snowmobiler, hunter, camper, boater and musician. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives were touched by this amazing man.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc.

A Celebration of Life, with refreshments, to follow at the L.R. Merritt Hall, 1503 Lake Rd., Hamlin.
