Walter L. “Walt” “Red” Owens

Holley:  Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the age of 85.  Predeceased by his Parents Josh (J.T.) and Aislee Owens, sisters Minnie Day and Emma Owens-Day.  He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Louise, son Walter Winston, (Jr.) daughter Patrenia L. Owens, 3 grandchildren Grenita Winston, Gary Winston, and Cierra Thomas, forever daughter in law Brenda Delancy-Young, siblings Dorothy Collier and Johnnie Owens (Maggie), nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Walter was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Walt was a hard worker, who spent many years working on the farm. He loved to barbeque, fish, garden, and tinker with fixing cars.  He enjoyed betting on the Lotto and his many casino trips.  Most importantly, Walt cherished spending quality time with his family as they shared numerous wonderful meals around the holidays and special occasions.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1 PM at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport.
