Beverly Howe Walker

Brockport - Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on January 17th with her family by her side.

She was born in Sea Breeze, NY on November 10th, 1929 to Milton and Hilda Howe.

She met the love of her life F. Ross Walker at Eastman Kodak and moved to Brockport NY. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband F. Ross Walker, her daughter Wendy Klafehn, her sister Jane Biggs, brother Vernon Howe and niece Laurie Biggs Myers.

She worked at Brockport State as secretary in the Curriculum and Education Dept. until her retirement. She also had 50 years of service as a ladies auxiliary member of the Brockport Fire Dept. She was a devoted member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, sang in the choir, and gave her time to fund raising, and Harvest Kitchen meals to the less fortunate.

She loved to travel, watch her beloved New York Yankees, Mickey Mouse and reading Mystery Novels. She found joy in every day.

She is survived by her son Steven Walker (Toni), daughters Kim Vislocky (Stephen) and Melanie Rogers. Grandchildren Shannon White (Justin), Evan Vislocky (Annie), Luke and Quintin Rogers, Dylan and Taylor Klafehn. Great-Grandchildren Laurel and Lev White, and Olivia Vislocky, and her sister Judy Nicholas, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She will be missed by all who loved her and her sunny disposition.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 23 at St. Luke's Episcopal Curch, 14 State St., Brockport.

A coffee hour will follow the service.

A Graveside Service will be held privately in Lakeview Cemetery.
