I wanted to send you a pic of Dave, Jimmy M, and my myself years ago from the 104 Enterprises Inc. shop in Brockport, but was't sure you'd like a picture of 100+ bottles of beer on the table. David, Jimmy, Jimmy, David my very Special Buds.I missed Jimmy terribly when he passed suddenly in 10/18/19, my shop mgr. & best friend for over 44 years, but now Dave, the other half of my Dynamic dual hell raisers (in a good way) makes me extremely sad. There wasn't one nite we didn't have a least one cocktail.Dave came on board to our 104 store probably a little burned out from his previous job,but as our lead counter sales person, he was a BIG HIT, everyone loved him. rightfully so.He made a tremendous impact immediately with our customers and it was a good break for him to make a temporary change in his everyday life.Dave was never afraid to tackle anything even if he wasn't familar to him.One fall we had this tall tree on our property line by the road that needed a little something to make it stand out..So I asked Dave "we needed to do something for the people passing bye on 104 like maybe a sign high up for them to see". He said I've got something better you're going to love this. This was over the weekend so he & Jimmy came up with these tropical tree leaves w/ coconut with a monkey @ the top of the tree holding bananas. Well I can't tell you how many accidents we almost had there. Sometime later,I could see dave needed to go back to his family nest (Tri-County Advertiser), he and Sally had been apart to long, I called him into my office and said Dave, this is going to cost me, but Sally needs you back @ the paper and you should be there. He shook my hand and thanked me.I really hadn't seen him much after then but made a promise to myself to call him from time to time. The last time I ever spoke to him was when Jim passed. Dave told me he'd be @ the service, but didn't.I knew he wouldn't sadly to say.We had Great times I will always remember but not the sad one.God Bless you my Special Friend and I'll see you sometime soon, Chuck.
