My deepest sympathies to Chuck, Bob, Mary and Anne, and their families. "Mrs. Connors" was my best friend's mother and my 8th Grade English teacher. I picture her bright and smiling in her kitchen - smart, present, enjoying a good laugh and also very direct with course correction when needed. She was a beloved and excellent teacher. Looking back, I would say she was a strong role model for us young girls. A life well lived. May her family be comforted during this sad time.
