Marcia was a dear friend and I will miss her and remember her always. We worked together for many years in Residential Life at SUNY Brockport but were friends outside of work as well. We had many adventures birding together - if there was a rare bird in the area, any season of the year, we traveled to see it. She also was a great amateur photographer and took some beautiful photos, especially of the Kodak peregrine falcons in flight. She loved her shade garden, especially her hostas. I have decided to plant two hostas in my peace garden as a tribute, the white feather and angel falls hostas. Some of the other things I loved about Marcia was her somewhat sarcastic sense of humor and the way her smile went all the way up to make her eyes shine, so you knew she meant it. I pray her soul is free and soaring and diving with the falcons now! I raise a glass of Jameson's to you Marcia!!
